New (One-Trip) containers have made a single voyage from the manufacturer and are in near-perfect condition — ideal for food-grade storage, conversions, or when aesthetics matter.
Used containers are graded A, B, or C based on condition. Grade A is nearly new; Grade B has minor dents or surface rust but is structurally sound; Grade C is functional but shows significant cosmetic wear. All used containers are cargo-worthy and weather-tight unless otherwise stated.

Delivery & Logistics
6 questions
Standard delivery is 1–3 business days for metropolitan areas in NSW. Deliveries to interstate or regional locations may take 3–7 business days depending on distance and carrier availability. We’ll provide an estimated delivery date at the time of order confirmation.
Yes. We deliver to all eight states and territories — NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT, and NT. Delivery costs and timeframes vary by location. For remote areas, please contact us for a tailored freight quote before placing your order.
Delivery costs depend on your location and container size. Freight charges are calculated at checkout based on your postcode. For bulk orders or remote deliveries, contact us directly for an accurate quote. We work with reliable transport partners to keep freight costs as competitive as possible.
Some promotional offers may include free or subsidised delivery. Check our shop for current deals.
Our trucks require clear, firm, level ground and sufficient overhead clearance (at least 5 metres for a 20ft container). The truck needs access to within approximately 2 metres of the final placement position. If your site has restricted access — narrow gates, soft ground, overhead powerlines — please let us know in advance so we can arrange appropriate equipment (crane truck, side-loader, or forklift).
Our drivers will place the container as close to your desired position as the truck and site conditions safely allow. For precise placement, we recommend using a crane or forklift (which we can arrange at an additional cost). Please have a clear plan for where you’d like the container placed before delivery day.
Permit requirements vary by local council and intended use. In many residential areas, a temporary container for storage may not require approval, but permanent placement or conversion into a dwelling typically does. We recommend checking with your local council before ordering. We are not responsible for permit compliance — this is the buyer’s responsibility.
Container Types & Specs
5 questions
We stock a comprehensive range of sizes:
- 8ft & 10ft — compact storage, ideal for smaller yards
- 20ft Standard — 6m long, the most popular size
- 20ft High Cube — extra 30cm height for more volume
- 30ft — mid-range option for growing needs
- 40ft Standard — 12m long, industry workhorse
- 40ft High Cube — maximum volume capacity
- 45ft — extra length for specialised cargo
A standard container stands 2.59m (8’6″) tall, while a high cube container is 2.9m (9’6″) tall — approximately 30cm taller. This extra height translates to significantly more internal volume and is preferred for conversions (offices, homes, workshops) where headroom matters.

Container Hire
4 questions
Yes, we offer short and long-term container hire. Simply select a hire container from our shop, specify your required duration, and we’ll deliver it to your site. At the end of your hire period, we collect the container at no extra charge. Hire is available in 20ft and 40ft sizes. View hire options →
Hire pricing starts at $340/month for a 40ft container. Pricing depends on container size, condition, and hire duration. Longer hire terms may attract discounted rates. Delivery and collection charges apply. Contact us for a custom hire quote tailored to your timeline and location.
Yes to both. You can extend your hire period at any time — just let us know before the end date and we’ll update your agreement. If you decide you’d like to purchase the container outright at the end of your hire, we can apply a portion of your hire payments toward the purchase price. Contact us to discuss terms.
The hirer is responsible for the container during the hire period. Normal wear and tear is expected, but damage caused by the hirer (e.g., forklift punctures, structural damage, loss) may result in repair costs. We recommend obtaining insurance coverage for your hired container. Please review our Terms and Conditions before hiring.

If it has been delivered, our 15-day return policy applies — we’ll collect the container and arrange the correct size. Exchange freight costs may apply. We strongly recommend contacting our team before ordering if you’re unsure of the right size.
Custom & Modified Containers
3 questions
Yes. We stock a range of pre-modified containers including site offices, portable cabins, bathroom/toilet units, and dangerous goods stores. We also supply containers suitable for conversion into modular homes. Browse our Container & Modular Homes and Portable Buildings & Cabins categories.
For specific modifications — additional doors, windows, ventilation, insulation, or custom paint — please contact our team with your requirements before ordering. We can source or arrange modifications through our network of qualified fabricators. Lead times and costs will vary based on the scope of work.
Container homes are increasingly popular in Australia, but they require council approval and building permits in almost all cases. We supply containers suitable for residential conversion — but the design, engineering certification, plumbing, electrical work, and council approval process are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend engaging a licensed builder and your local council early in the planning stage.
